Every gym out there likes to pretend like their program is new, sexy and fun…
I hate to be the bearer of bad news but they’re not!
Whilst fitness and nutrition is fun for me and the other gym owners I know the general public doesn’t generally share this sentiment…
What gym owners don’t realise is that we’re literally asking our clients to do all the hard things.
To stop eating all the “naughty” foods
To wake up early and train before work or to come in after a long hard day at work
To do things which are uncomfortable and hard (because that’s how you get fit)
To pay us money (if you’re doing it right it should be the most they’ve paid for a gym membership and you should be delivering some damn good results in return)
To become disciplined and say no to fun things with friends in lieu of sleeping and prioritising recovery so our clients can train harder!
If you’re constantly jumping from gym to gym in search of someone who isn’t asking you to do these things I suggest you stop and use this as the criteria when selecting your next gym because it’s only a place that asks these things that will get you amazing results!
