Try And Try Again...

Over the weekend we finished up the Whole Life Challenge. A 6 week game designed around building better habits into your lifestyle. Things like sleep, hydration, nutrition and exercise were tracked daily and we had body composition measurements at the start and the end of the challenge so we could get some objective results…

While in my opinion the results were overwhelmingly successful others would argue against this. You see most people went into this 6 weeks hoping to lose a couple of kilos. Which they did. But…

Upon closer examination of their scan they realise the loss is not isolated to their body fat but also their muscle mass. They have lost fat and muscle of similar amounts.

So if this is you what do you do?

Easy, you go back and change a couple of the variables. Perhaps increase your protein intake, skip an endurance workout and replace it with a weightlifting class instead.

Whatever it is you choose be consistent and measure again in 6-12 weeks.

Rinse and repeat this till you get the results you desire because nobody gets it right the first time but those who are willing to try again will always succeed.
