How To Make Things Look Easy...

Momentum in my opinion is the most important driving force in life. It is powerful because it can either work in your favour or against you…

When your training is going well chances are you will eat better, drink less and probably engage in more activities to support this good momentum you have going. It’s also easier to motivate yourself to keep doing that thing... Because hey you don’t want to undo all your hard work…  

On the flip side it can also spiral out of control. If you’re not training your diet generally gets worse, you might drink more and you will probably be less inclined to engage in healthy physical activities. Because hey you’re not training anyway so who cares…  

This might have you thinking this definitely isn’t me but based on the overwhelming majority of conversations I have with people I believe this to be the damn truth!  

So how do we get ourselves in positive momentum and use it for our own good?

It’s actually really simple… Pick something and start!

It could be having a cold shower everyday, waking up at the same everyday or even stretching for 30 minutes each day. The thing you pick doesn’t matter as much as the fact it is building momentum.

You want to build a large body of work in an area so when the day comes that it gets hard and your determination is tested you can look back on all the work you have put it in and because the momentum is heavily in your favour you will not give up…

We all have the friend or someone we know who makes healthy living or training look easy.

This is because they are riding a huge wave of momentum and it’s much easier to stay on the wave than it is to paddle back on if you fall off…
