Why I'm Jealous Of Those Who Don't Train...

I speak with people daily who are not currently following a training program or doing any form of exercise. When I tell them I am jealous they always ask why...

You see for someone who doesn’t train it’s easy to do something physically difficult. To be honest anything they do physically will probably be hard which means they are spoilt for choice.

Whether it’s a run around the block, a few sets of squats or push ups, the first few times they exercise it will be really hard. This is great news!

It doesn’t take much effort and every single time they go back to repeat a workout they will definitely see progress for the first little while. This becomes super motivating and addictive!

On the other hand for someone who has been training for close to a decade it is harder to see gains like this. The progress between workouts stretches from days to weeks to months or years and you know how hard it is to fight for that extra rep or few seconds on your run.

So rather than looking at how hard it is to start think of how much progress there is to be made when starting out!

You don’t have to be great to start but you have to start to be great!
