Moving Past Your Plateau...

As a coach I have come to grips with the fact our clients will not care as much about the science behind the program as we do.

This is great because it’s the exact reason they pay us to geek out on the specifics…

One thing which I feel is vitally important to understand however is the concept of progressive overload.

In order to adapt and grow stronger or fitter we need to expose you to increasingly more difficult things. Heavier weights, more technical movements or to move more quickly.  

If we constantly do the same thing you will stay the same. This is definitely not what I am after and you neither should you.

Have you found yourself sticking with the same scaling or same amount of sessions per week and found your gains have ground to a halt?

If so it’s time you up the ante in either sessions per week, weights or speed and keep chasing those gains!
