What Does Being Normal Even Mean

In my short 30 years on this earth I have observed the rise of chronic disease, obesity and low physical performance. I’m afraid as a society we are beginning to see these things as normal.

What is normal these days…

The standard we are accepting for our physical health has slowed dropped.

It is now at a point where it is seen as ok to just go get a pill or some other quick fix for your problems.

What ever happened to good old fashioned hard work and commitment? You know the things which enact lasting change!

It seems consistent quality nutrition, physical strength and capacity are viewed as abnormal. Reserved for those gym junkies…

While we’re at it what other things are viewed as abnormal?

Lifting your own bodyweight from the floor.

Running for more than a couple of kilometers without stopping.

Having muscles. Especially for women!

Even something as simple as doing a deep squat with falling over!

This to me seems absurd!

To me not having the ability to do these things would severely decrease my quality of life and why would I want that?

If being normal means I can’t do any of this stuff then I want nothing to do with it and neither should you!
