Today's workout doesn't really matter...

In my opinion there is too much focus from gym goers today on the exact amount of sets, reps and movements they do in each and every session.

Trying to find the perfect program!  

In my experience this is especially true in those new to training or just starting out at a new gym.

While important, I would argue that in the grand scheme of your training over the next 5 to 10 years, what you do today doesn't even matter.  

Truth be told when you first start out everything will work for you, but, nothing will work forever... 

As your training age increases so must the specifics of your training program.  

So instead of questioning the specifics of today's workout just show up do the work and keep building the training habit.  

The squats you do today won't matter in 10 years but the fact you go to the gym every day will!
